Mun - If people want me to keep Guan Yu I will. I will just have to try and pull some stuff out of my butt to make the character seem relevant with storylines.

Not sure if I really will stay RPing as Guan Yu, because there isn’t much going on with him enough to make me feel like it’s worth it. No active Cao Ren or Lu Meng for Jing Province storylines. No active Liu Bei or Zhang Fei. No active Cao Cao or Yuan Shao for Guandu storylines.

I feel like I can just get stuff done if I start RP conflict with Dong Zhuo. Get like different roleplayers in on a storyline. Something interesting, like I said before.

Dong Zhuo seems to be the most consistent choice...

So I got into Dynasty Warriors when I first played Dynasty Warriors 4. I loved it. I played every Dynasty Warriors game since.

But then, what the exact reason was I don’t remember, during the Dynasty Warriors 7 era, I took like a year break from Dynasty Warriors. And my mind got rusty.

So now, returning back to everything, I’m starting to get back in the groove and remember everything, but I still feel like I’m not up to par with my past self, so every time I reply to RPs I feel like I’m not that good. I feel out of character, that I’m not in tune with the character fully, and it just makes me feel “blah”. Like, my posts are inadequate… if you understand me.

So I’m sorry if I have yet to reply to everyone. It’s a personal thing. I’ll get back in the groove of things in no time.

The DW fandom can sometimes make me ashamed to even like the series thanks to the batshit insane fans, psycho fangirls, “OCs”, etc.

One thing I would say to this is, be thankful that we have those insane fans. I’m not one too fond of insane fans, but for Dynasty Warriors think about it. Outside of Japan, this game gets insane scrutiny from game reviewers in the States like IGN. And it really isn’t on everyone’s “first to buy” game list here in the West. So the fact that we have passionate fans who love this game, it’s something to be treasured. They know just how incredible this game is.

Although yes, sometimes taking that passion and turning it into borderline insanity is scary, but still. Lol.
